For a living I write feature articles on contract, mostly about nature and the environment. But for fun I write fiction, humor and essays. I especially love writing about people.
Several years ago I co-authored, for Washington State University Extension, Getting to the Water’s Edge on Whidbey and Camano Islands, a guide to the trails, beaches, birds and marine life of Island County.
In 2009 I combined my love of nature with stories about people in my own book, Whidbey Island’s Special Places and the People Who Love Them.
